>It is the people who plan to work until they're 70 or 75 who are living in a dream world. Careers are trending shorter, and it ain't gonna change.

My aunt is 85 and still working. She loves what she does. My FIL worked until right before his death at 90. He loved what he did. My mom retired recently from her third career (at age 75). She loved what she did in each of her careers. Sure careers are trending shorter, I'm into my third career and loving it. Only the inflexible will be left on the sidelines or in drudge jobs.
