I am attempting to learn GTR1. I have been reading through "GTR1 For Dummies V1.0." found here:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/050wxs51jausvq9/GTR1%20for%20Dummi...

It has a short list of fields, but I am looking for something more complete. I found this document, but I guess the fields are for backtest.ort, not gtr1:

https://backtest.org/fields.html

Is there something similar for gtr1? This link seems to be dead:

http://members.iinet.net.au/~rgeary/glossary.html

I thought the "GTR1 Helper" might be useful, but this link provided by "Dummies" is also dead:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/vz013iruqdef3b0/PC_GTR1%20Helper%2...

I got this backtest to work at backtest.org: netinc_g1f top 10

But gtr1 does not recognize the fields netinc_g1f or netincg1f.

I guess my first question is, where can a get a complete list of fields for GTR1? Also, will I need a subscription for SI PRO to run the backtester at gtr1 (I don't think so, but not certain)? And perhaps if you recognize another question I should be asking you can tell me what that question is and answer it as well :)

Thank you for any help.

Look at list at post 272939.
Valueline screens will no longer work due to its copyright fears.
Not many people are using zacks screens here and IBD users mostly are using a separate posting board.
I couldn't find it but someone on here can tell you where to fill in the form to get a list of all fields by source.

To get all the fields by source go to http://gtr1.net/2013/? and enter 'list:*.' and the suffix for the data source in the 'Command line-only options: ' in the Miscellaneous section. Below are the various data sources (taken from the 'GTR1 for Dummies' file - highly recommended to have your own copy.)

GTR1 has incorporated data from many other sources. The source of the fields within the database may generally be identified with.

.a Actual (from Yahoo! Finance, some of which dates back to 1925)
.s Stock Investor Pro (Si Pro)
.w IBDs WER data
.c Compustat Point-in-Time (CPiT) [now Compustat Snapshot]
.z Zacks Rank
.k Marketsmith
.d Daily Graphs

(I removed a couple of obsolete options to be as up-to-date as possible & there may be some newer options however I'm not aware of any others. The GTR1 for Dummies can be found at https://www.dropbox.com/s/050wxs51jausvq9/GTR1%20for%20Dummi... .)
