Update on my sister...she had a good MRI report yesterday. The tumor appears to have shrunk; often this reveals dead cells from the tumor which have been killed by radiaiton and chemotherapy. She will know more when she meets with her neurosurgeon next week.

We have the gift of more time...it is now the essence of a good life for us.

Sorry I haven't been around. My online course is quite time consuming. I have to begin my research work on Global Perspectives in Curriculum. It is a wonderful experience...great professor, great classmates and excellent support from the university (I am doing an EDM in Global Studies in Education at the University of Illinois Champaign Urbana). It seems more intense than physically going to class. I am enjoying the intellectual stimulation!

I am also up to my eyeballs at school work - trying to continually revise curriculum and teaching strategies and stay well physically.

Cheers everyone - thank you for all your good wishes and support. Please remember my sister as time goes on. She said she will see us at DD's college graduation next May and I am hoping for that so much.

Liz
