Spent the weekend camping at the campsite where the trapshooting for Corporate Challenge takes place. Lots of other Company Folks camped as well, which was fantastic because I had babysitters for when I ran the 5K AND for Her Bootiness while I ran Q to his t-ball game.

Thanks to SPF 50, the kids and I came back as white as we left, and after a long nap on Sunday, went to Mom and Dad's for a cook out and another nap.

List of gifts

To me:
Handprint thingies from the kids
Flowers from Little Sis
Hug from Mom

To Mom:
Nuts for her truck (flesh colored, 8")* - me
Colored happy Mother's day cards - kids
$20 for casino - Little Sis

To Little Sis:
Hug from Mom
Cinnamon Toast Crunch - me
bubble-solution covered hugs - kids

I got to hold The Most Adorable Niece In The World a lot, too. She's new and I've been sick, and now that I'm well and she's three weeks old, she's actually opening her eyes and looking around, instead of just wailing for food.

A weekend spent relaxing with good friends and watching my kids run around with puppies and a bunch of adults that love us: Priceless.

*She saw them on someone else's vehicle a few weeks ago while we were driving around together, and I suprised her with her very own pair.
