Having learned to be more of a trader, I have come to learn that for me it is not about being a bull or a bear. The question that is asked will frame the answer. If one is about making money off of temporarily exchanging one piece of paper ($) for another (stock certificates) or vice versa, then one is looking for individual situations in the stock market. One has to be quite ruthless and without emotional attachment to the piece of paper (whichever kind).

This is ok when dealing with paper, clearly not so ok when dealing with the folks you care about and love.
