Hello:

As a resident of Philly, I have to say that I doubt there will be much demand on the eastern side of the State. Why would I go to Philadelphia Park to play slots when I can drive to AC (45 min.) and get the full casino experiance? In my mind that eliminates any demand from people in Philly (the biggest population center in the state).

This is a silly stop-gap measure meant to pay for years of fiscal irresponsability. I am a firm believe that people should be allowed to gamble and do pretty much whatever else they want to do provided it doesn't infringe on the liberties of others, so I am fine with the government 'letting' me gamble if I so choose. However, I would prefer that it was provided as a move to get government off my back, rather then to make it easier for them to spend more of my money.
