Been away from TMF for awhile now, but thought I'd take a peek now that I'm retired.

Finding more time to read, garden, spend time with grandchild, bike, walk and generally BREATHE.

I never realized how much of a toll my job took on my joints sitting at a desk all day. Eyesight has improved since I can look beyond my desk at real landscapes.

As for the money ... you would not believe how little I live on.

Let's just say it is the same amount per month as a week's pay for my son.

So far no serious issues with money ... and a heck of a lot of satisfaction in living simply.
