Hello,Your wife's Staffords should be at a lower rate with a cap of 8.25%. If she has not consolidated, now would be a good time. With the direct electronic repayment discount of 0.25% that Sallie Mae offers, you could/should get a rate in the mid 6% range.I would call Sallie to see what your wife's current interest rates are.
