Here in the shiny city on the hill we have moved on to key fob remotes

As I disposed of my 11 year old beater that required a key in November, the can of deicer may seem redundant, however I used it a few days ago on my 1982 mailbox, which has a mechanical lock. In the past, I have also used those cans of deicer to free a car door when the weather stripping has frozen to the door jamb. Anyone who has a late model convertible or hardtop may find use for one to, as the weather stripping design now requires the door window retract a half inch before the door can be opened. Legions of people have issues with the windows freezing in place and refusing to lower so the door can be opened.

Frozen window issue discussed in this video. A guy I know gave up on his Beetle convert in frustration over the window constantly freezing and sold it after only two years.
