Remember that incredible 13-year old singer on the X-Factor that wowed you (and everyone else). She made another appearance last week. Well, Carly Rose Sonenclar made it through the 1st round of auditions, and they are now at the judges' homes for further competition and elimination rounds. Here she is singing a short song with her competitor (they match them up in pairs....there are many, many more). Both of these girls are 13. These are just parts of a song....not the full version. They are singing a song that I really like actually. Carly, they one you like, sings second. She sings the chorus part, which of course puts the first girl at an disadvatage.Amazing vocals for a 13 year old. Seriously talented.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5v6Jdc_UxNI
Here she is at the judges home (Britney Spears)signing on the edge of a cliff in Los Angeles overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Very nice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPAUGh9GHn8

Were there kids that talented when I was a kid only we just never heard about them? Did they have voices like that? Where were they? Are these girls Aliens? Seriously! Art
Their voices sound like two grown up adult women instead of two thirteen year olds. Were there kids that talented when I was a kid only we just never heard about them? Did they have voices like that? Where were they? Are these girls Aliens? Seriously! Art Art, I was in band, athletics, choir in middle school and high school, and never did I hear anyone sing like this. Ever. And these friends of mine were talented for their age. Trust me, I understand your surprise. The kids that they pick up on these shows on X-Factor - are the cream of the crop....like the top 99.99% percentile kids. Sort of like the very, very best athletes who make the pros....not many of them. Remember that one girl (Carly Rose Sonenclar) already sang on Broadway when she was only 7 years old. She's also starred in movies and has a part on PBS's The Electric Company.I find these finds fascinating, because they relate to population statistics. Go far enough on the right side of the bell curve, you will find some astondingly amazing people in all aspects.....the arts, academics, dance, athletics, etc.
