Hey Pinck. There are three sets of discussion boards in the greater Foolish Community. The Public Boards (where this board exists) is found at boards.fool.com and contains a set of public company boards and public interest boards. Each premium service (including SA and RB) has a set of Service Community boards, links to which can be found on the Community tab on each service's website. These boards are only accessible by members of those services and are the appropriate place to discuss service recommendations or holdings.

The third group of boards are the Premium Boards, which are shared by all Premium Service members. They include discussion boards for every company that is an active or past recommendation or portfolio holding (provided that the board has had activity within the last 24 months). This is where Premium Fools can come together to talk about the companies themselves (plus a couple of general interest boards for fun).

The $ you noted indicate the board is a Premium Board. Service Community boards have a prefix representing the abbreviation for that premium service.

There's one exception to the rule. For services that have been closed over the years, their Community Boards have been moved into the Public Community space, and while they still have the prefix from their original service, they are accessible for free by all.
