Hey RV,

Several years ago when my health deteriorated to a point where I could not work I went on long term disability. I had a small $15K life insurance policy through my former employer and my premiums were waived due to my disability. So DW had some additional funds should I pre-decease her.
Well, I turned 70 this year and lo and behold I received a letter from the insurance carrier. It stated that the policy expires on my 70th birthday. BUT that I could buy some additional coverage and some exorbitant premium. No thank you.

Kind of reminds me of the IRS. Whenever you combine the words the IRS ... it always comes out THEIRS ! ;)
