Hi Eveline,
Your post points out a very important point about Novogen, which alot of people forget in all the euphoria....that is, this companies current businesss is very dependent on largely UPROVEN "hollistic" "alternative" (call it what you like) medicine. Most of the journals quoted above would not stand up in the rigourous scientific medical literature. So what if Rimostil lowers cholesterol in women...(if it does at all)..who said lowering cholesterol in women was of benefit anyway???? Dito for increasing HDL's...My great Aunt lived till 95 eating butter and scones with cream..!

If I was putting money into Australian pharmacuetical or Biotec companies I would stick to those who have proven well accepted (in the broader scientific community) FDA approved etc treatments eg Resmed (sleep apnea), Biota (viral treatments), CSL (plasma and drug products, FHF (generics) Choclear etc..for the risk takers, there are some great small biotech's out there(a field were Aussie research is WELL regarded around the globe to be competitive, innovative and above all sound.)

Regards AB
