Hi jerrysteinle --

Welcome to The Motley Fool.

Your Social Security taxes go to the same place every one else's does -- to the Social Security administration. They use that money largely to pay current benefits. Currently, the system pays out more than it collects in taxes, but the interest on the Trust Funds is enough at the moment so that the Trust Funds are still increasing overall. That is expected to change around 2021, according to the most recent Trustees Report.
