Hi Lynne:

That was another excellent Rule Maker report on GNET/INSP. Since GNET is being purchased by INSP I thought I would include some Rule Breaker information for Infospace, a company definitely breaking some rules.

If anybody is interested in INSP as an investment you may want to check these articles/posts:

I like Infospace, it has formed all the right partnerships, and it is winning in its Godzilla Game (grabbing as much market share as early as possible). It's wireless portal offerings aggregate the content of most of the best sites in the web.

The only problem I see is that of discontinuous innovation. I own shares of Pumatech (PUMA) and one of its software offerings called Browse-It™ translates html to wml (the wireless web language) on the fly. This way internet content can be displayed in a wireless device without having to go through a third party.

It's still very early in the wireless portal game, but INSP looks to be doing very well for itself. Watch out though for strong competition from PHCM.

I posted a few things recently about PUMA, in case anyone is interested:

This wireless infrastructure and services space is full of promise. AETH is also a competitor to INSP and PUMA. I see this space exploding in about a year or so as the 3G wireless data rollout gets going in full force.

See these articles to learn more about wireless standards:

We've only just begun to see the real growth in the wireless sector.

Disclaimer: Long PUMA and QCOM
