Hi Maxx

I have mixed feelings about all of these wild critters.

Me too. After 16 years at our house without rose destruction, we have had wild chipmunk chaos this summer (eating the blossoms, breaking the stems) - which I attribute to our mild winter. My organic repellent has helped.

We have foxes, coyotes and red-tailed hawks around here, but the rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks seem to be on steroids. Luckily, so do the robins, cardinals, chickadees and sparrows (and wild turkeys).

The only downside is we have a pond where swans nest every year and they lost all 6 of their cygnets to a monster snapping turtle. They were 5 for 6 last year, though.

Cheers,

Steve
