Hi Mike, You asked, What about taking out a personal loan instead to buy stocks? IMHO, never and priority 1 is to avoid debt. Yeh, so you can beat 13% and assuming all goes according to plan, you are just taking your gain to pay off debt. This question has come up quite often on a number of boards.

What do you think of my personal loan strategy?
