Hi SP :-)
In 1979-1982 or so, I thought stocks were very cheap. MANY good companies were selling for 4X earnings, and the Dow was in the 850-1000 range.

I was saving all mynickels and dimes and investing pretty much everythin I could scrape together in stocks.

That seemed like a good strategy to me.

Lots of folks today are saying 'stocks are cheap', and indeed there are lots of stocks with P/Es below 15.

How do you 'see' the 'elevator' today?

tia :-)
