That looks like a pretty good way to solve that problem. It would cut down on the likelihood of some stocks coming in and out of the list. i had thought of just dropping it off the list if dropped out of, say the top fifty. The trouble with that is that its FF ratio improves as the company deteriorates. I like your method better.

About the Shares Outstanding, I'm confused like you. I don't think Telstra has 12 billion shares outstanding. Maybe one of them counts the Govt's 51%? Does one of them include installment receipts? Surely not!

I tried a few websites and searches, but didn't find anything definitive. Sorry. I'm still looking.
