Hi x296-

We've made the determination that for this newsletter that our standard would be that any company we recommend as formal picks must be functionally liquid in the US. This means that you will not have to switch brokers in order to buy any of the recommendations.

Now, for our Wildcard section we have a great deal more freedom to pick from anywhere in the world. Importantly, these are not formal recommendations, but it's a big world out there, and we want to highlight the best of the best, wherever they are.

This month's Wildcard is something we call a "Hairy Beast," a company that we believe is extremely cheap, but has an extraordinarily high risk level: Neteller. Neteller trades in London, but has an unsponsored listing in the US: NTLRF. Broker abilities to trade in this name will be wildly divergent.

The one thing that I'll say about the broker capability page is that it is a "living document." We have experience with some brokers, with others we've had to pretty much go on what they told us they could do. And since each time they really wanted us to open accounts, they were not that excited to say "no, we can't buy companies on the Hang Seng Stock Exchange." I encourage you to post your experiences with your broker here, and if they diverge from what the broker says it can do, we'll incorporate it!

Foolish best-
Bill Mann
