In Dave Gardner's 1998 testimony about mutual fund fees before the House Committee on Commerce(http://www.fool.com/school/mutualfunds/costs/gardner.htm),
he said that 401K plans "may have hidden fees, too". Does anyone know if he was talking about something other than the normal fees and commissions that would that would be levied if any portion of that 401K account is invested in mutual funds? Thanks in advance for any responses.
