Hmm, I haven't called them back about the rate. I've decided not to bother with it and just pay it off. I know that's not the Foolish decision but I'm just tired of dealing with it.
I like this thankyounetwork thing. It seems like it simplifies things.
Now that you guys mention it, I think the gasoline and groceries points would benefit me the most as I'm not much of a traveler. I was just thinking that sometime in the distant future I would be able to take a nice free trip somewhere. But with the way things are going, I can't really be sure that the companies will honor their side of the bargain come redemption time. I think it's best for me to take rewards that I can get immediately, if not, within the year. That way I have a reasonable chance to actually secure what I've been promised*
