Hmmm, should I be offended if no one has an answer for my question?

No. It most likely means that no one knows the correct answer (without doing some research, anyway). Due to the time of year (i.e. tax season), if the answer isn't off the top of my head, I can't take the time to research.

Am I on the wrong Board?

I can't think of a better board. But I don't know all of the boards out there. Perhaps someone on the Self-Employed Fools is willing to venture an answer. But it will likely be from another business owner rather than from a knowledgable professional.
