How do you guys read annual reports? I used to usually read them on my computer screen, but I feel very detached from the reading. I was researching DWA and I finally just printed their MD&A section on 8pgs(back and front) and it's a MUCH more useful experience to me. Just looking for what your research habits are.

A recent major influence on me in terms of researching investments is the book Value Investing: From Graham to Buffett and Beyond...fantastic book for value investors(obviously) but it really changed my thinking and (blasphemy alert!) I found it much more enlightening than The Intelligent Investor(although the concepts in the Intelligent Investor are absolutely central, and Jason Zweig's commentary version is very nice).

Also, I recently decided I wouldn't pick a stock on CAPS unless I either thoroughly researched it as a potential investment or actually bought in. I've cut down my picks to 7 now...I'm really going to have to expand my portfolio.
