If you have a fund with a back-end fee/deferred sales charge fee and you keep that fund till you retire, and instead of liquidating your total assets in that fund you decide to withdraw a monthly interest check, how do they charge you the back-end fee or the deferred sales charge fee?

Typically, the load and/or redemption fees are charged at the time of each withdrawal. Your custodian is the best source to give you this information.
