How is Median Income determined? Yes, it is the median of all the Incomes in the sample. But what what Income and what source(s) of that Income are we talking about? Did they have IRS data, SocSec data, census data, what?

Once I know that, I can calculate MY equivalent "Income".

Retired, soc sec, pension, IRA RMD, dividends, options premiums, surface finds, etc.

I don't understand the question.
