"How Old You Is? I be 60." - Josh

In a couple of weeks I will be 60 also.

I have been participating on this board since I was 47 years old. I think I found Intercst's Retireearlyhomepage.com in 1999 when I was 46 years old.

Where have all the years gone? They seem to be going by faster and faster.

1944 was a good year.

Good, but not great. The Lions went 6-3-1 to finish second in the conference. The Tigers finished one game behind the Browns for the AL pennant.

Hal Newhouser won the first of his two AL MVP awards, finishing up with 29 wins and .1 runs away from an ERA title and the Pitching Triple Crown.

The Red Wings finished second as well and lost the Stanley Cup to Toronto 4 games to 3.

My wife is 62. She is two years older than me. Want to know what's funny? When I first asked her out I thought she was a little 18 year old freshman. I was 20 years old and thought she was 18! Turns out she was two years older than me.

She had been married and divorced from a guy from her high school. He was the captain of the football team but he cheated on her with their next door neighbor when they lived in California when he was in the Army and that was the end of that.

So I was 21 and my wife was 23 when we got married. We will have been married for 39 years at the end of March. We got married in 1974. My wife is teaching kids now in college who were born in the mid 1990s!

My God time flies when you're having fun!

My God! Which class? High school or college? Either way.... you are old! I was born in 1953 and I'm fixing to turn 60. That makes you at least almost 18 years older than me. Congratulations on achieving such a ripe old age. I'll probably living on the other side by the time I'm that old. I'll be in that great hologram in the sky! (or in another dimension)

I'm 67.

My right shoulder is older. Years of racquet sports and two operations on it. Now I play mostly left-handed. Took me two years to make the switch.

My heart got old when I wasn't looking so I had it overhauled, some new parts put in, and now it's great.

It's amazing how well we fit together. The areas where I'm weak she is strong and the areas where she is weak I am strong. We are opposite in a lot of ways but it's like two pieces of a puzzle that fit together to make a whole. And we couldn't look anymore unalike. I am big and goofy looking and my wife is little and tiny. She is photogenic and let's just say, I am not. But I am good in a lot of things that she is very weak in. God knew what he was doing when he put us together.

Okay, I'll bite and say I have a Medicare card in my wallet which is now sort of negated by a supplemental plan. If anyone listened to the Willis Report tonight, I half listened to it while doing a crossword. Obamacare just might do us seniors in before we're supposed to expire (i.e. discouraging Medicare paid readmissions due to surgical complications which will benefit doctors and hospitals financially). Anyway, I reached a milestone age in life and am kind of proud of that accomplishment. Anything from hereon in is gravy.

I'm definitely not optimistic anymore. I was truly depressed on election night when it flashed across my computer screen that he'd "won" reelection.

Look what's happening and it's only DAYS into his 2nd term.

One of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong....

A woman's three ages:

The age she says she is - 48

The age her friends say she is - they usually guess 20something until I tell them otherwise

Her real age. - 48

I don't actually think I look 20whatever, but I do get a kick out of the wrong numbers - when I talk about having kids, most people who don't know me expect me to have toddlers, not grad/college students. I just usually silently bless good genes and Mary Kay
