Over 600K people now hold part time jobs assumed to be a result of them falling off of benefits and needing work out of necessity.

¿How to create jobs? Get rid of unemployment benefits and people will find jobs!

Yeah, right, 'cause they are only unemployed because they are lazy bums ... the lack of hiring has nothing to do with it!

Denny:

I was reading an article recently that Chavez campaigned on diverting its oil exports AWAY from US and instead to Asian countries. I am not sure if that was to "fuel" anti-American sentiment or if this is a pure financial decision (or just political posturing).

I understand that Venezuela has more oil reserves than Saudi.

Here in the states under Obama's rule, gas prices have doubled.......the unmentioned severe tax on middle tax and poor.

Do you think this diversion away from US is posturing and if not, any impact expected on pricing here?

I have no idea but highly likely it is anti-American campaign talk to his followers. We vote tomorrow.

Best to you and your tomorrow Denny.

Maybe both our countries can rid ourselves of the socialist in power.

Capriles is also a socialist but a pragmatic one. It makes a big difference.

You think maybe it may be related to PT Pertamina (Persero), the national oil company of Indonesia buying out HNR's partnership interest with PDVSA?

I kinda doubt Indonesia's interest was to help fuel our economy, although if things keep up at the rate they are going Venezuela won't be producing enough oil to matter much after they pay China (in oil) for all the money they are getting from them.
