One of the Fools suggested I post here for some help!

I am reworking some tax work for previous years (before the new tax law). My Fido broker charged "borrowing fees" on my shorts...some normal and some hard to borrow.

I am sure you all (MF PRO) encountered the same charges. On to the tax form...

Anyway, I am trying to figure if these fees are itemized on line 23 or line 28 on the Schedule A.

I googled it and a writer from Forbes says line 28, using other misc. expenses.

Another one from Intuit discussion boards says line 23.

Can anyone help me with this? Or, can you point me to other MF boards for help?
