Hi everyone

My accountant submitted my return (electronically) in late March

I have received my state refund, but Federal hasnt been received. On the IRS 'check my refund' page, all it says is 'pending', and all the linked articles imply that refunds generally take 21 days, if they are not immediate.

I realize that the IRS is behind in processing returns that require 'additional review' (child tax credit, etc seems to force manual check?). But I feel that this has been a very long time, and am bewildered as to how it seems to be impossible to talk to anyone at the IRS to get any idea of how much longer it will take.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how figure out how to talk to someone to get a reasonable response on when the refund will be processed?
