The How-to category on Investing Wiki provides an opportunity to create basic articles for beginning investors. For example--

http://wiki.fool.com/How_to_research_a_company

Would anyone here care to pen an article on How a Value Investor estimates the value of a potential investment?

There are many related possible articles. Any contributions are welcome. Follow the guidelines for format, etc., or don't worry about it. The editors will take care of the details. And best of all, Wiki allows multiple edits, corrections, additions, to flesh out details. Plus hyperlinks allow the use of technical terms that can be defined and explained in separate articles.

Contributions welcome. Have at it.

You'd suppose that (inter alia) investing in a company whose base is in a rising currency would add value, at least in dollar terms.
If so, do we gain by investing in, say, SVA, CTRP (Chinese) or SKF, DB (Euro) even tho' the trading is on the NYSE/AMEX ?
