We (wife and I) spend about $60-70/week on groceries which includes non-grocery items like TP, etc.. So, your $90/week does seem high.

Hard to offer any thoughts about spending less without knowing what you are buying or how much beer you are drinking. Craft beer costs around $17/12 bottles. If you drink 3 bottles/day, you are guzzling $30+ per week.

I used to work in the food industry and did the organic certification for one small company. While organic is helpful and there are benefits, alot of the cost uptick you pay for organic is in the paperwork and implied health benefits. At least, that is my take. It is all about how you value organic - I don't. Obviously, given the market, many do.

Just my two cents worth.
