This was a post on Facebook from a former crime reporter. He said former and current Georgia officials involved, but I've been unable to verify. If you read the indictment and find it, please reply post. Thanks!

Human smuggling, forced labor among allegations in south Georgia federal indictment--Newly unsealed indictment targets 24 defendants for human trafficking
The indictment alleges that in or before 2015, the conspirators and their associates “engaged in mail fraud, international forced labor trafficking, and money laundering, among other crimes,” fraudulently using the H-2A work visa program to smuggle foreign nationals from Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras into the United States under the pretext of serving as agricultural workers.

The activities took place within the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Georgia; the Middle District of Florida; the Southern District of Texas; and Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and elsewhere. The conspirators required the workers to pay unlawful fees for transportation, food, and housing while illegally withholding their travel and identification documents, and subjected the workers “to perform physically demanding work for little or no pay, housing them in crowded, unsanitary, and degrading living conditions, and by threatening them with deportation and violence.”

from the comments on the Facebook post, the crime reporter said:
"Two Georgia labor officials whose jobs involved protecting or advocating for farmworkers have links to one of the largest U.S. human trafficking cases ever prosecuted involving foreign agricultural laborers brought here on seasonal visas.
One individual indicted in the case, Brett Donovan Bussey, left government service in 2018. The other, Jorge Gomez, remains on the job and hasn’t been accused of wrongdoing, but officers searched his home in connection with the case and his sister and nephew are among those indicted."

If you own or use a cellphone made after 2010, it was made with slave labor to some extent, and you ARE NOT WOKE, AND YOU ARE NOT ANYTHING BETTER THAN A TRUMPY CORPORATIST PRETENDING TO CARE. You are condoning slave labor - but then when it suits you, banning, cancelling and boycotting things that really doesn't affect you, but allows Liberals to pretend to care.

No different than Religious Rightie leaders busted for sex scandals they claim to be preaching against.

This has nothing to do with your political frame of reference. This is about your (and mine) participation in the North America Economy. You brought up the issue of the reliance on Chinese Slave Labor, it's not just Apple, it's not just high tech liberal CEOs. It's GE, it's Siemens, it's GM, it's BMW, it's not just liberals that participate in Chinese Slave Labor. You do too.

We'll take away burgers from middle class Russians cause we stand for something!

We'll boycott corporations for some stance of the CEO on gays.

Buuuuuuuuuuut......we'll use products, and enjoy profits to our 401Ks.....and slave labor, and murder in China - we'll tolerate that one.
