Hurray for 3% growth and cheering for 4% growth!!

That was meant to be interpreted as cheering to Berkshire Hathaway's internal companies achieving 4% growth and not to be interpreted as saying the overall USA economy was now at 3% growth and headed for 4% numbers.

It is old joke about the two guys camping in a national park that suddenly become aware of a grizzly bear coming their way. One guy puts on one running shoe and has his second shoe almost on when his compatriot says, "What are you doing? You can't outrun a grizzly bear!" The guy with two shoes on retorts, "Yes, but I can outrun you! Bye!" We investors can put on our running shoes via doing our best to ensure we invest with an adequate margin of safety versus long-term return to give ourselves the best opportunities to outrun the larger economic environment factors.
