Fellow Supers,

A Korean company has announced that they have developed a "hybrid" fault limiter which uses substantially less superconducting wire than some of the others under development. The advantage would be they are cheaper.

Something like this might help gain wide acceptance for the devices while the quantity of 2G wire which can be produced goes up and the price of 2G wire goes down.
