I agree completely Jeff as far as too close to potential launch date.
I'd wait for launch, see if it goes off without any hitches, and even
if it does, I'd say SIRI could be a potential short candidate AFTER the
inevitable pop associated with the launch. I tried playing these 2 as
a Gorilla Game type situation, but very quickly moved all my money to
XM as I felt it kept getting stronger and stronger every time SIRI had
anything negative said about its plans. With first to market advantage
getting bigger every day, cheaper service, GM already rolling it out in
a number of models, XM just is the obvious choice. And IF there are
problems with SIRI that we're not completely aware of, and IF Chrysler
and Ford get fed up with all that ails SIRI and are impatient with GM
already offering Satellite Radio, it wouldn't surprise me to see either
or both go with XM instead. Not sure what potential lawsuit consequences
would be associated, but if that happens, better hope to be aboard the
XM rocket beforehand. All, of course
my take and my take only,
cubby
