I also enjoyed "Lost in a Good Book" and "The Eyre Affair" By Jasper (Fjorde?)<?i>

These are wonderful. The Eyre Affair should be read first, as it establishes the rules of the universe Fforde creates. There's a third in the series, as well, the title of which escapes me at the moment.

Laugh-out-loud funny. If you're up for a cross between The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and an Agatha Christie mystery, this is the book for you. Oh, one other thing -- very strong, independent female lead character who is nonetheless feminine and appealing for her competence and intelligence. I'm glad to see a man found them good -- many man avoid books with a female central character, and she's a doozy.
