I am 32. Retiring early for my generation may very well mean retiring at age 75. What if medical advances in the next 20 years pushes average life expectancy into the 100's?

I am 31, DH is 42. DH and I plan on retiring within 5-7 years. I think enhancing your life is a good idea, but I personally don't like living in a cubicle from 8-5. Nor do I like having only 2-3 weeks off a year. I'll take retirement any day.

IMHO, work does not give me any flexibility- it just takes up my time.
