I am afraid that I have little to add to the conversation on baseball (I find it somewhat boring) nor about Republicans and/or Democrats (I find that even more boring) and my mind is more occupied by the fact that our washing machine – it is running as I write this – has a delicates wash-cycle tempo exactly that of Beethoven's Fur Elise and a spin-cycle matching Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody.

The pause between cycles is quiet as it is well known one does not applaud between movements.

Please carry on.
