Canucks get over 60% of our power from clean Hydro. Hydro doesn't 'use' water, it merely borrows it long enough to extract the kinetic energy from it while it seeks the lowest elevation it can get to.

The primary sources of electricity generated in 2015 were hydro (60.7 percent), nuclear (16.8 percent), coal (10.8 percent), natural gas (6.8 percent), and renewables (e.g., wind, biomass, solar) (5 percent), according to the Canadian National Energy Board (NEB).Aug 14, 2017
