I am doing my own right now. The first one or two are slow and tricky.

I'm going to say it all depends on how good you are with carpentry skills. You definitely need a few tools - like a good level.

I'm half way on window 11 of 22 done. Can do about 1 per hour now.

check out a few manufacturer pages for directions.

I know Lowe's uses pella thermastar vinyl.
