I completely disagree.

Civilian pay should be the first to go.

People in the military service come before them IMO, they are signed up and can not walk away.

Any hit should be to the folks with jobs who are allowed to walk away first.

Riot away, or better yet, do what you are supposed to do when you do not like your job, walk away.

NOTE: I am not maligning your job in any way, shape or form, and mean no disrespect at all, but the folks who can not walk away need to be the last to lose anything IMO


I understand what you're saying and agree. That's why I was against the DOD stopping TA benefits.

Fireworks on the other hand? Pfft! I'm married to an enlisted man. 4th of July fireworks and Air Shows means my husband will be pulling parking duty, picking up trash or working in a booth to raise money for the unit; not spending time with his family or enjoying the event.
