We're pleased to announce an update is coming to the community boards.
Sunday, September 25th: We are migrating the boards to a new platform. The site is currently in read-only mode and we will bring it back online as soon as the migration is complete.
I disagree. A big part of the value of KK or AA is the ability to raise or reraise enough to win the pot outright before the flop. Any idiot can hit a flop sooner or later... you're looking to drive most everyone out early. For the player who is unable to lay down A's and K's you are probably right. For the player who understands that a pair of A's or K's is just that....one pair of A's or K's, both hands give you a significant advantage and allow you to build a nice pot and in NL tournaments, nice pots seperate $ from no $.-Ryan
