I do remember Homer Simpson once tried to put a billion dollar bill into a soda machine while he was visiting Cuba (I don't know how that visit happened or how he happened to possess such a thing). The machine wouldn't accept the bill.

Later on Homer lent it to Fidel before asking for it back later on. Fidel replied "What billion dollar bill"? Both of them remained consistent to their character.

Now Homer has never been accused of being Mensa material. I recall an episode where he was doing his taxes and he asks his wife Marge "We have three kids? Since when!?!?".

I have lived my life using a nugget of wisdom imparted to me by a friend many years ago. He said "Don't forget that stupidity never goes on backorder".
