I do think some of the problem is finding people who speak English well enough to interview well that are interesting enough to interview.

I agree with this assessment. Sometimes there is an interpreter on hand but even the simpliest question (and answer) then requires a lot of time -- and something is lost in the translation, it seems to me.

And I also agree with the earlier post that if the broadcasting stations believed that more viewers were interested in hearing from winners from other countries, we would hear from them on all the channels.

I've been watching some of the hockey, which as you say, is being broadcast even when the USA team is not playing. The same is true with the curling (not that I can watch that for more than 2 minutes at a time!)

While the coverage may be somewhat "biased", I don't find it overwhelmingly so.
