I do think this is an issue worth discussing though given the poor performance of Berkshire's public portfolio.


I agree. The problem will only get worse as the size of the investment needed to make an impact continues to grow. (baby elephants need not apply)

This is the thing that worries me the most about BRK long term.

I'm not sure how all of this ties into the rumour about 2 new hires (Post 23466) - possibly an attempt to grab 2 young talented capital allocators? My gut says no but I can be hopeful.
