I do think, though, that if ID is really based on solid scientific reasoning, then these books might help to visualize a roadmap by which evolution will someday be replaced.

I don't forsee a day when evolution is replaced. Some theories describe reality accurately enough that they are modified over time to increase accuracy, rather than rejected in total.

ID at best would be incorporated into an overall theory which identifies natural processes and intelligence to explain biodiversity. As I see it, it would still be called "The Theory of Evolution"

they explain how widely accepted knowledge in science is sometimes eliminated and overridden by newer evidence that changes accepted theories.

Kuhn is most famous in ID circles for explaining how hard it is for the existing scientific orthodoxy to let go and accept the new, and how hard they fight against the new.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'd at least like to read "The Structure of Scientific Revolutions" since it is cited so much.
