I do want a half decent camera. BTW why do they have two cameras, front and back?

The one pointing forward, used most of the time, is for using your phone like a camera.

The one pointing toward the user is for selfies, but it has other uses. Think of it as a small mirror that lets you see if you have something stuck between your teeth, or if your hair looks alright. It also lets you peak over your shoulder. This evening I was making some connections on the back of my floor-standing computer and used that setting to see behind it without pulling it all the way out.

At least 95% of the pictures I take the usual way I never would have thought of taking before I had my phone. Prices in stores, serial numbers and other such labels on devices, all the connectors on the backs of devices that I don't want to pull out to see what is back there, shopping lists, that bottle of wine my wife wants more of, and on and on. Sort of a backup for my increasingly unreliable memory.
