I don't agree with this ... first of all you want to always CUT your losses and let your gains run .... you are doing the opposite .... You will find that 5% is such a small margin for error ... What are you going to do with your losing positions ?? Let them run until they are worthless ....

One last thing is to consider trading commissions in real life ... that will cut into your profits.
