I don't know if you already made your decision, but mine is a Viking Platinum 750 Quilt. Got all sorts of stitches for decorative quilting without being a full blown embroidery machine.

Thing is, I never use them, I sort of stopped sewing or anything for a few years but I am thinking about doing a lap quilt for my sister this year so maybe I'll try some of those stitches. However, the machine itself is easy to use and quite sturdy.

Though if I had to do it over I'd probably go with a more economical machine like LJs.
